Most careers in which students are interested are “Business Careers,” such as Accounting, Advertising, Banking, Financial Planning, Insurance, Money Management, Public Relations, Real Estate, Retailing, and Sales. This applies to college-bound (either two- or four-year) students as well as those students who are interested in technical training after high school. In addition, managing one’s finances, investments, and personal records is becoming a very complicated and demanding part of every adult’s life.

Business courses are strongly recommended for college-bound students who would like to obtain some marketable skills while they are attending college or for those students who would like to be better prepared for computer business applications expected of the college student. Many changes have been made in the course offerings to enhance the students’ computer application skills.

Plan ahead. Take classes that will prepare you for college and for the “real” world.
