Team Handbook Information
Activity Time
This is a chance for students to relax with their friends, including friends from the other team and to celebrate a job well done during the week. The students go outside around 1:40 PM and return to the classroom around 2:05 PM.
Students who have not gotten home work done during the previous week, or who have had behavior problems will stay in an assigned classroom where they can take care of class. Students who have been absent, will also remain in the classroom to receive instruction and assistance from the teachers so they do not fall behind in their work.
Homework Policy
2. Any student not completing a homework assignment will have a ZERO posted for their grade. This ZERO is the quickest way to inform the parent (guardian) about the student’s homework progress . The assignment may be turned in the next class day for partial credit.
3. The teacher (or team) will determine when parent contact is necessary.
4. Our team will communicate with the Encore teachers about any issues concerning students who don’t complete assignments in their classes. The Encore teachers will submit a list of students who have had missing assignments to our team on a quarterly basis for our incentive purposes.
5. Any student who has a missing assignment by Friday, will be kept in during Activity Time so that teachers have time to help them complete the assignment.

2. Be prepared to learn - this includes classroom materials, homework, planner and a positive attitude.
3. Listen to whomever is speaking.
4. Obey all team, school, and district policies.

Grade Scale:
A = 90-100
B = 80-89
C = 70-79
D = 60-69
F = 59 and below
